Living A Life Of No Regrets

One Sunday afternoon the church I attend was so very blessed to have a guest speaker by the name of Robert Rogers. Robert is the brother of one of our church members. Robert had the unthinkable happen to him. He lost his entire family (wife and four kids) in seconds during a flash flood in Kansas a few years ago. This tragedy, as you can expect, changed Robert's life forever. He now travels the globe sharing his powerful story with the world. He preaches about living a life with no regrets and living life to the fullest each and every day. Click here to read Robert Rodgers Story.

Robert has taken his story to the people and with it he has won thousands of souls for the Lord. It's story's like Robert's that hits home the idea that we are only here a short time. It's the time we spend here that should count for something. Taking anything that comes our way and using it to better our lives and others.

I have walked on many paths during my life but it has been during my Christian walk that I have started to live a life of no regrets.

I would like to share with you a part of my life called "being born again".

Even with all my accomplishments, I never really accomplished anything of value until I accepted the Lord into my heart and life. I struggled as a single mother for many years without having a personal relationship with God. My spiritual awakening did not happen all at once. It was a slow gradual process. I was one of those free will ran, amok - hard headed none believers. The only thing I believed in was my self. For many years the only one I could count on was my self, so I found it very hard to let go of anything, let alone control. I had a very bad experience with the Church as a child, which deepened the gap in my relationship with God growing up. My family was Holiday and On call Christians so it was pretty easy for me to get away with not going to church.

The day I was baptized I was born again. I was free from my past sins and given the chance to live life over. This time I promised God I would make my life count. It's about letting go of the pain and letting in the love. I could list for you all the bad things that happened to me before I was born again however the only list that means anything is the list of wonderful blessings I have experienced since I was saved.
